Design and Develop an Information Technology System for Quality Assurance

This research was aimed to 1) study current circumstance of quality assurance system of Faculty of Science and Technology, Suan Dusit University, 2) design and develop an information system for quality assurance and 3) assess users’ satisfaction towards the system by applying mixed method. The samples of the research were 80 faculty and staffs of Faculty of Science and Technology, Suan Dusit University. Research tools were questionnaires concerning current circumstance of quality assurance system of Faculty of Science and Technology, Suan Dusit University and the information system for quality assurance. Statistics used for the research were frequency, percentage, average and standard deviation. The research result indicated that general current status was at a high level (\inline\bar {X}= 3.55, SD=. 94). Consider in each aspect, the faculty supports was at a high level (\inline\bar {X}= 3.72, SD=. 92), terms of system and monitoring mechanism was at a high level (\inline\bar {X}= 3.68, SD=. 97), efficacy was at a high level (\inline\bar {X}= 3.51, SD=. 91) and knowledge and understanding was at a moderate level (\inline\bar {X}= 3.29, SD=. 97) respectively. Moreover, users were generally satisfied with the system at a high level (\inline\bar {X}= 4.20, SD=. 46). Consider in each aspect, all aspects were satisfied at a high level according to content and usage (\inline\bar {X}= 4.20, SD=. 46), benefit and appliance (\inline\bar {X}= 4.25, SD=. 54) and system design and layout (\inline\bar {X}= 4.02, SD=. 54) respectively.
